The ideas for this project will emerge directly from the space, the library, (its inhabitants, and history) and the contents housed in the library. Abstracting the written word through the language of the body. Using mark-making onto large paper and tracing paper, as if we were ‘writing the space’ or ‘drawing in paragraphs’ We will stage a series of interventions during the three weeks, developing ‘chapters’ that can be read visually. Finally creating of an installation of tactile and multi-dimensional projection surfaces, in which film and movement will be present.
